3. Eligibility

By placing an order through our website, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.
  • You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

4. Products

Skilled Colombian artisans individually handcraft every Maresa piece.

As a result:

  • Slight variations in colour, pattern, texture and finishing are a natural characteristic of handcrafted products.
  • No two handcrafted pieces will ever be completely identical.
  • These variations reflect the authenticity of artisan craftsmanship and are not considered defects.

Product photographs are intended to represent each product as accurately as possible. However, because every item is individually handcrafted and colours may vary between screens and devices, slight differences between the photographs displayed on our website and the product you receive should be expected and do not constitute a fault.

5. Product Availability

Many Maresa collections are produced in limited quantities or small batches.

Product availability is therefore subject to stock levels.

We reserve the right to modify, replace or discontinue products and collections without prior notice.

If an item becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and provide a full refund if payment has already been received.

6. Pricing

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£).

Prices include VAT where applicable.

Delivery charges are calculated separately during checkout.

Although we take reasonable care to ensure pricing is accurate, we reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors before accepting an order.

We may change prices at any time. However, any price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

7. Orders

Submitting an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase our products.

A contract is formed only when we send you an Order Confirmation email confirming acceptance of your order.

If we are unable to accept your order for any reason, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund where payment has already been taken.

8. Payment

We accept secure payments through trusted payment providers, including:

  • Shopify Payments
  • PayPal

All payment transactions are encrypted and processed securely by our authorised payment providers.

Payment must be received in full before your order is dispatched.

9. Delivery

Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only.

While we make every reasonable effort to dispatch and deliver orders within the estimated timeframes, delivery dates are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

Occasionally, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.

Please refer to our Delivery Information page for further details.

10. Returns & Refunds

Returns are accepted in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy.

Returned items must:

  • Be unused.
  • Be returned in their original condition.
  • Include the original packaging where reasonably possible.
  • Be returned within the applicable return period.

Personalised or custom-made products may not be eligible for return unless they are faulty or otherwise required by Law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under UK consumer protection legislation.

11. Care of Handcrafted Products

Every Maresa product is individually handcrafted and should be handled with appropriate care.

Please follow the care instructions provided with your purchase to help preserve the appearance and longevity of your item.

Damage resulting from misuse, accidental damage, improper storage or failure to follow the recommended care instructions is not considered a manufacturing fault.
